Pollards design, build and implement a wide range of mechanical, flying and fire special effects.

We have diverted entire steering systems in cars, cut away vehicles and engines, created a huge fire bowl with fire balls for a fashion launch and built flying camera rigs, pneumatic camera rigs and entire rolling video walls. We are capable of manufacturing almost any special effects equipment you can imagine.

When it sounds too difficult, that's when its time to call Pollards... imagine this:

The shot was a train approaching the camera at high speed. The cut was to be less than 300mm from the lens. The brief was to build a rig to mount a million dollar camera that retracts with only millimeters to spare and returns to the exact same position as if it were a  locked off shot. It was Pollard Productions who designed, engineered, built and operated the rig that triggered by the train, retracted a Panavision camera over one meter in under one quarter of a second.
